Vasilitsi is about 3 + hours from Athens by car and around one hour from Kalamata, buses take longer but there are express routes that cut the time significantly. The international airport of Kalamata is around fifty minutes away and the Greek KTEL bus service picks up passengers at that location on route to towards Koroni and Vasilitsi. 

Due to some confusion of the KTEL Bus timetable which omits Vasilitsi in its route description, it needs to noted that there is a Bus stop in Vasilitsi and a Bus stops there at least 3 times a day. Therefore, Kalamata – Koroni – Vasilitsi and visa versa is serviced with a Bus route. If you are a visitor staying in Vasilitsi and have no other form of transport to get around, the KTEL Bus service will take you to and from Memi beach, Koroni, Kalamata and beyond.
